From very early on, I knew that I wanted to be a teacher. My second grade teacher, Mrs. Chickering, was both my hero and my role model.

I guess the point to be made is that we all come from varying degrees of dysfunctional family situations, and if we’re expecting anything CLOSE to perfection from ourselves what we will receive is an extremely disappointing outcome.

It’s a daunting prospect to think that schedules we create for our kids could later on impact their lifestyles as adults!
